The Lost Worlds of the Ancient Kesh

(0 reviews)

A fascinating combined speleo-historical tour to the mountainous part of ancient Kesh. This place has a rich history. Since ancient times the gorge of the Sarymas mountain range served as a caravan route, and the Yakkabag mountains themselves were used for the wintering and preparation of troops by the young Amir Timur. This region is rich with caves, water and game for hunting, so it could not be better suited for these purposes. These mountains are also rich in resources such as juniper forests, iron and other ores.

As part of the tour you will visit the mountains of ancient Kesh, and see and pass through the deepest cave of Kaptarkhona (about 1 km long). You will see huge canyons in which the army of Tamerlane hid and trained. In addition, you can see the ancient smelters where metals were melted for the military needs of Timur. All this and much more is waiting for you!
