The Big Chimgan is the highest point of the Chatkal range, which extends 200 km in length in the Western Tien Shan. The height of the Big Chimgan is 3,309 meters. The unique wild reserve

By the way, there is a unique Ugam-Chatkal National Nature Park in the spurs of the Chatkal mountain ridge, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The reserve was established in 1992 with the aim of protecting animals and plants from any human activity in order to preserve the primeval wildlife. You can get to the plateau from the western ridge of the Big Chimgan with multiple pack tracks and it's better to do it with the help of a local guide. Once the Pulatkhan plateau served as a powerful fortress and a refuge for rulers and inside it was a local market. As proof of this, tourists still find gold coins in nearby rivers.
