Ichan-Kala is the historical inner city of Khiva in Uzbekistan, surrounded by strong walls, which became the first monument of world heritage in Central Asia. The fortress buildings and palaces, mosques and madrasas, mausoleums and minarets, caravanserais of the bath turned Ichan-Kala into a unique city-monument, built over the centuries (the oldest monuments belong to the XIV century).
