    Tour of Samarkand - one of the most majestic cities of Uzbekistan, the beloved capital of the great Tamerlane:

    • Mausoleum Gur-Emir (XIV-XV centuries), in which is the tomb of Tamerlane and his relatives;

    • Mausoleum of Shahi Zinda (XII-XV centuries): One of the alleged tombs of Kusam ibn Abass (cousin of the Prophet Muhammad).

  • Day 6: Samarkand - Tashkent

    Breakfast.

    Continuation of the excursion around Samarkand:

    • Bibi Khanum Mosque (XIV century), built in honor of Tamerlane's beloved wife;

    • Ulugbek's Observatory (XV century) - an astronomer, scientist, ruler, beloved grandson of Tamerlane, killed by order of his son;

    • Mausoleum of Saint Daniel. According to legend, Tamerlane made a pilgrimage to the mausoleum of the saint in his campaign to Asia Minor and decided that his capital Samarkand should also be rich and prosperous, and sent some of the remains of the saint to Samarkand with great honor.
