The system of caravan trade routes connected Eurasian countries - from Western Europe to China - from the 2nd century BC. until the 15th century. The main routes went through 32 cities in Central Asia.

The pearls of the Silk Road are Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and the Ferghana Valley.

  • Day 1: St. Petersburg - Urgench - Khiva

    Departure from St. Petersburg by flight HY 638 at 10:20.

    Arrival in Urgench at 16:55, meeting with the Dolores Travel Services sign.

    Transfer to Khiva (30 km), hotel accommodation.

  • Day 2: Khiva

    09:00. City tour, with a visit to the architectural complex of Ichan Kala (12-19 centuries):

    • Kunya Ark Citadel (16-17th century), residence of the last Khan, including Mausoleum of Ismail Haji, Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasah, Muhammad Rahimkhan Madrasah, Juma mosque (10th century), Juma Mosque Minaret, Shergazikhan Madrasah, Mausoleum of Said Aladdin, Minaret Murad-tur;
    • Architectural complex of Pakhlavan Makhmud: Mausoleum of Pakhlavan Makhmud (14-18 centuries), Minaret of Islamhodzhi, Ak-mosque, Bani Anushahan, Caravanserai of Allakulikhan, Madrasah of Alpakulikhan (1834-1835);
    • Tash-Khovli Palace (19th century);

  • Day 3: Khiva - Bukhara

  • Day 4: Bukhara

    • Ark Citadel - a city in the city (4th century BC);
    • Bolo House Mosque (beginning of 20th cent.);
    • Architectural ensemble Poi-Kalon (Great Pedestal), the religious heart of Sacred Bukhara, consists of Kalyan minaret, Kalyan mosque and Miri-Arab madrasah;
    • Ulugbek Madrasah (1417);
    • Madrasah Nodir-Divan-Begi;
    • Madrasah Abdul Aziz Khan;
    • Magoki Attori Mosque (12-16 centuries);
    • Lyabi House ensemble (14-17 centuries);
    • Kosh Madrasah Ensemble (consisting of two opposing Madari Abdullahan Madrasahs (mother of Abdullahan) and Abdullahan Madrasah;
    • Mausoleum of Samanids (tomb of representatives of the Samanids dynasty of the late 9th - early 10th century);
    • Mausoleum of Chashma Ayub (Source of Job);

  • Day 5: Bukhara

    09:00. Excursion suburban program in Bukhara:

    • Mausoleum of Bahoutdin Naqshbandi (XVI-XIX centuries) a Sufi teacher, is considered the founder of the most significant Sufi order of Naqshbandi;
    • Necropolis of Chor Bakr. In the necropolis of Chor-Bakr there are burials of sheikhs from the genus of the Dzhuybar Seyyids. The necropolis itself is a rather large architectural complex, listed in the UNESCO catalog. The name of the necropolis “Chor-Bakr” means "Four Brothers", but abroad the necropolis is better known under the name "City of the Dead";
    • Sitorai Mohi Khosa Palace (a palace similar to the stars and the moon) is a suburban residence of the Emir of Bukhara, built in the late XIX - early XX centuries.

  • Day 6: Bukhara - Samarkand

    09:00. Transfer to Samarkand, through the city of Gijduvan with a tour of Ulugbek Madrasah, Mazar Abd-al-Halyk Gijduvani and visit to the workshop of a famous potter (without a guide).

  • Day 7: Samarkand

    09:00. Sightseeing program in Samarkand:

    • Mausoleum of Guri Emir - the tomb of Tamerlane (14-15 century) - the place where Amir Temur, his sons and grandchildren are buried;
    • Registan Square is one of the outstanding examples of urban planning art in Central Asia, which developed in the 17th century and consists of three madrasahs - Ulugbek (1417-1420), Sher-Dor (1619-1636) and Tilla-Kari (1647-1660) .). On it you can "turn over the pages" of the thousands of thousands of stories of Samarkand;
    • Bibi Khanum Mosque is the largest in Central Asia and one of the largest in the entire Muslim world. It is on this building that anyone who enters the city gazes at. Huge, majestic, silent ...
    • Architectural complex of Shahi-Zinda (11-15th century) is the burial place of royalty and nobles. But the main mausoleum, from where the necropolis begins, is considered the imaginary grave of the cousin of the prophet Muhammad - Kusam Ibn-Abbas. He was called "Shahi Zinda", which means "Living King" in Persian.

  • Day 8: Samarkand - Tashkent

    09:00. Morning visit to Siab bazaar - the largest bazaar in Samarkand.

    • Mausoleum of the Prophet Daniel - The Prophet Daniel is revered by three world religions. He is one of the four great Israeli prophets in Judaism, a prophet whose book was included in the Old Testament of the Christian Bible and the prophet of Islamic tradition. Legend has it that Timur moved part of the remains of Daniel, namely his hand, to Samarkand;
    • Ulugbek's Observatory (15th century) - Ulugbek's scientific works were created thanks to the unique observatory that he erected in Samarkand. The main stationary tool was a giant quadrant, placed inside a cylindrical building with a diameter of 48 m (the remains of the foundation, or rather the trenches from it, were found during archaeological research).

    Transfer to Tashkent by train, according to the schedule and availability.

  • Day 9: Tashkent - St. Petersburg

    09:00. Excursion program in modern Tashkent:

    • Theater of Opera and Ballet named after Alisher Navoi, a tour of Amir Timur Square, State Museum of Timurids, Amir Timur Square, in the center of which is a monument to the great colonel Amir Temur, the famous Tashkent chimes and hotels of Uzbekistan (Intourist), the Palace of Forums, Broadway - an alley of artists with exhibits on sale of inexpensive souvenirs, Alai bazaar.

    Continuation of the excursion program in Tashkent:

    • Independence Square, where the monuments of Independence and Happy Material are located, the Arch "Good and noble aspirations" with the memorial of the Great Patriotic War;
    • "Courage" memorial complex is an exclusively architectural and artistic complex dedicated to the theme of the consequences of the Tashkent earthquake of 1966.

    Further excursion in the old city:

    • Hasti Imam complex: consisting of the Barak Khan Madrasah, Till Sheikh Mosque - the repository of the famous Koran Osman and the golden hair of the Prophet Muhammad;
    • Madrasah of Abdulkasym.
